Because it sounds like you're supportive of MS. So how DARE you.
Ugh, Eidos. Appearance is the LAST thing you need to work on. Improve gameplay. Improve the script. That's how you draw gamers of any gender. Not by changing something superficial and assuming a certain demographic will eat it up. That is the height of arrogance to me. And the sad thing is, she doesn't look as bad as everyone makes her out to be.
If Eidos wants to have an excuse to pander to female gamers just give Lara an apprentice or partner where you can actually build a fem...
When you think back to how MS basically tried to foist Vista on the public through basic fraud ('Vista capable' anyone?), you can understand why they wouldn't jump in our faces over this one. As if we suddenly trust them implicitly.
Good news is without the big hype it's easier to see W7 for its actual merits.
I wouldn't mind if this article went away at all. It's not that it doesn't present valid points, it's just that all of them have been made by better articles months ago. There's no new information here.
It seems silly, but when I think about all these smaller companies trying to take the big boys to Texas for a patent violation, I'm sure it must seem very prudent to file as a preventative measure.
Probably some better reasons, but patent law isn't exactly my field... so uh yeah
Jumping the gun entirely too quickly.
The patent description just sounds like some fancy tutorial mode. And it's optional from what I understand. It might indicate that Nintendo intends to make the next big Zelda more friendly to the newbie gamer, but until more information surfaces that's a far cry from neutering the entire experience.
A bigger TV is cool, but "better games" is such a subjective analysis.
I happen to like *gasp* the benefits of both PC AND console. It boggles the mind, right?
HL2 isn't god's gift to FPS imo and I'm not about get all up in arms about a story I didn't care for. But it's far from non-existent as some posters have implied. I found it exceptionally easy to follow and the gameplay to be the shining point of the entire experience. It actually expects you to think or listen instead of just shoot. That's high points in an FPS any day.
The biggest issue I have is with the episodic nature of the game; I'm far more used to having a game reach an...
I love to hear that someone's actually considering what's in my wallet before releasing that next big mandatory upgrade. Will it stay with me as long and remain as relevant as my PS2?
Doubtful, but the thought is delicious.
Why would you think that? Was there a news article I missed indicating a rushed schedule?
Less wait is good news, imo.
I haven't bothered with the Musou series of games since like DWXtreme Legends or something on PS2 mainly because they haven't changed it up enough besides adding more enemies/weapons/items/etc.
I'm not even sure if there have been any nextgen releases of the series. If there have, are they more of the same or are there any worthwhile additions?
I'll probably be getting a PS3 sometime this year, and yes, I would have rather had the backwards compatibility. Understandably, consumers clamoured for a cheaper price, but I would not have wanted that drop to happen at the cost of a feature I enjoy. I still own my PS2, but I'd rather not have to depend on an ageing console which will eventually obsolesce/break and have to wait until tech evolves enough to have proper emulations I can repurchase like we do today with 2D games.

If you're calling the game crap just from seeing the video, you probably just don't like RTS as a genre. Because I can't think of anything in the video which points at specific crappy features in HW and none of the naysayers have listed any.
On the other hand, I can't say if Halo Wars will be great, but I will say it's an interesting experiment in console RTS.
I think games are "gay enough" since games are still considered to be (erroneously) a child's toy. And we can't even decide if our trained professionals should teach the existence of homosexuality in schools.
As for gay stereotypes...welcome to the party. We can't even get rid of Male/Female/Asian/Black/Hispan ic/French/British/Australian/e tc. stereotypes. Better luck in the future. :/
Funny article. Amazing what we will do or say caught up in the hype.
I have a good laugh over this game every time I see news about it.
I understand that it takes time to build an engine and a game, but what's the deal with teasing us with it waaaaay before a release? And then keep "teasing" us with the same trailer? I am amused, but not in a good way.
Now that's a helpful list. The only game I've bothered to install so far is Mass Effect and I really couldn't tell the difference in load times.
Why do things titled "Rumor" get posted as news? I like my news factual and sourced.
This is terribly written. At the very least spell check if you're going to submit news.
You look stupid when you misspell three words in the same sentence. Key word being 'look'.
